Arrival (OC)

(OC) means this is an Open Caption version of our feature movie. Captions are titles designed for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition to the actor’s dialogue, captions include notations for sound effects, music, and other background noises, when these elements are important to the on-screen action.

The Lyric Theatre will play an Open Caption version of the movie provided it exists; we apologize in advance if we announce an Open Caption screening and discover when we receive the movie--within a few days of the movie’s run--that an Open Caption version does not in fact exist.

When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team - led by expert linguist Louise Banks - is brought together to investigate.
