The Room

Experience the new cult film made famous by the film The Disaster Artist (showing the previous week at The Lyric), The Room. Tommy Wiseau stars as Johnny in this famously bad movie and also serves as the writer, director, and producer. Bad acting and accents, plot points raised and forgotten, stock footage that looks better than the frequently out of focus scenes, and quotable lines galore make for a memorable evening.

Tommy's Johnny has just proposed to his girlfriend Lisa, but she has her eye on Johnny's best friend Mark. Lisa's mom thinks she should stay with Johnny while neighbor Denny randomly walks into their apartment. Will the tension tear Johnny apart?
