An electrifying alt-country sensation redefining the boundaries of country and rock, The Jared Stout Band seamlessly weaves Appalachian rhythms with bluesy undertones, creating a tapestry of emotion and energy, resonating with audiences far and wide. With soulful, relatable songwriting, JSBs style is as diverse as the landscape of their Southwestern Virginia home.
The Kind
Blending a variety of styles from classic rock, R&B, and jazz to bluegrass and country, The Kind are most notable for their huge melting pot of Grateful Dead covers. Combining strong vocals and balanced harmonies, The Kind intertwine flowing melodies with soulful rhythmic grooves to produce a fun, flowing, and danceable experience.

Join us for some of the BEST live music in the NRV! Featuring nationally renowned artists in many musical genres, LIVE AT THE LYRIC offers the opportunity to experience great music in an intimate setting. All ticket purchases are final. Online ticket sales will end 2 hours before the scheduled start time for the event and remaining tickets will be sold at the door, which will open 30 minutes before the event start time. Not all discounts will be available online; if the discount does not appear when selecting your seat(s), then the discount is not available online and you must call the office or visit
in person to get the discount. Student Discounts are not available online and must be purchased at the box office with a valid student ID. Office hours are Monday through Friday 10AM to 4PM.
