Jeff Jablonski and Jeff Radi met through their involvement with a nationally touring CSN tribute show. They discovered that they had more in common than their first name; both harbored a mutual passion for the music of the early years of rock and roll, specifically the folk music era. They grew up in the age when rock was new, the generation that spawned geniuses such as Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Little did they know, that honing their musical craft at an early age, would plant seeds of who they would become. Jablonski and Radi experienced an intrinsic bond when they met. Their amazing ability to harmonize and recreate the sounds of music from a bygone era, is profoundly synchronistic. Their harmonious personalities lend a magical touch to the emotional lyrics and timeless rhythm of their passionate tribute show, Sounds of Simon and Garfunkel.

The American Soldier is a piece of theater made to HONOR our veterans and military families.
Douglas Taurel says, “My goal, as the creator of this play, is to elevate these stories and remind us all of what we all have in common as Americans.” The play is decidedly not a political play, but a profoundly human story- a piece of theater that honors our veterans and their families and deepens our collective understanding of their experiences.
The American Soldier invites audiences to journey through the American story. It reveals the American soldiers’ struggles at war and explores the bravery our veterans and their families exhibit when veterans return home and try to re-enter civilian life. As explored through the lives of 15 different Veterans and their family members, the play follows real stories based on factual accounts from actual Soldiers and family member’s letters written from the American Revolution through current day Afghanistan. The American Soldier is the American story of many men and women who don the uniform with a willingness to fight, defend, and pay the ultimate sacrifice for our country’s freedoms.

These programs highlight both historical context and contemporary practice, demonstrating how the region’s artistic traditions have had national and international impact while continuing to inspire the next generation of artists and musicians.

How did East Nash Grass follow up their 2024 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist? By earning a nomination for Entertainer of the Year, IBMA’s highest honor, in 2025, and celebrating fiddler Maddie Denton’s win as Fiddler of the Year.
In short, East Nash Grass have quickly established themselves as the fresh new face of Nashville’s storied bluegrass tradition, a supergroup of rising stars: Grand Master Fiddle champion Denton is joined by banjo player Cory Walker (banjo player on the five-time nominated Carter & Cleveland album this year, among numerous accolades), 2022 IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year Harry Clark, and new guitar player Frank Rische. This is an all-star band that harkens back to the sort of talent collected in the original Blue Grass Boys and a powerhouse leader of the next generation in bluegrass excellence.
They are far more than just a group of impressive instrumental technicians, building on night after night of three-set gigs on Nashville’s East Side, playing tiny stages for the love of it between tours backing bigger acts. It’s a hard-forged bond that translates into an infectious on-stage energy that audiences can’t seem to get enough of.
